Photography Experience
I’ve been taking photos since I was very young; staring in my teen years.Throughout my life, it has been a passion. I’ve taken photos as a hobby and commercially for over 50 years now. These days I focus on business product photos and corporate training videos, photos of people and events, and editorial and art photography. And recently, I’ve added drone videos and photography to my portfolio of skills. I love the unique perspective you get when you see landscapes, buildings, people, and places from up in the air. It adds a whole other level of creative possibilities.
Drone Experience
Since receiving my FAA Part 107 remote pilot license in Spring of 2017, I’ve been flying several times a week on average. As of January 2020, I have 120+ hours of flight time and over 535 flights logged. I’ve flown our drones 440 miles total distance. In addition to my training for the FAA Part 107 test, I have an additional 8 hours of formal drone training from an experienced Delta Airlines flight trainer who specializes in drones and two other experienced drone pilots. At the InterDrone 2017 conference, I received an additional 15 hours of drone training. During my own weekly flight training, I combine my flying and photography skills so that I can provide the best drone videos and photos for my clients.
